Miss Venezuela 2013
Miss Venezuela 2013, the 61st Miss Venezuela, was held on October 10, 2013 in Poliedro de Caracas, Caracas, Venezuela after weeks of events. The winners of the pageant represented Venezuela in Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Earth for 2014. This was the first time since 2009 that the Poliedro hosted the pageant coronation night.
The pageant was broadcast live on Venevision from Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela. Outgoing titleholder Gabriela Isler crowned her successor, Migbelis Castellanos as Miss Venezuela Universe, at the end of the event. And at the same event, Elián Herrera and Alyz Henrich crowned their successors Michelle Bertolini and Stephanie de Zorzi as Miss Venezuela International and Miss Venezuela Earth respectively.
The event started out with a tribute to the late long time pageant executive producer Joaquin Rivera who died earlier in the year, followed by the usual opening number featuring international star Tito el Bambino, and then by the 26 delegates singing the official pageant anthem.
Aside from current presenters Leonardo Villalobos, Mariángel Ruiz and Ismael Cala, Boris Izaguirre and pageant veterans Maite Delgado and Viviana Gibelli co-hosted the event.
